秋の日帰り旅行「バスケットボール観戦」 Autumn Day Trip “Basketball game”

2016年9月25日(日)、秋の日帰り旅行を開催しました。心斎橋にある「割烹湖月」で少し早目の昼食を済ませて午後からはバスで舞洲「府民共済SUPERアリーナ」へ移動。 駐大阪・神戸米国総領事館　政治経済担当領事のブライアン・ダリン領事をお迎えして、 バスケットボール観戦を行いました。本年9月に、日本男子プロバスケットボール統一リーグとして発足した直後の「B.LEAGUE」で、大阪を拠点に活躍する「大阪エヴェッサ」のホーム開幕カード(「レバンガ北海道」戦)ということもあり、会場は大いに盛り上がりましたが、残念ながら試合は58対70に終わり、前日に続けてホームチームの2連勝とはなりませんでした。バスケットボールはコートからの距離が近いので、詳しいルールは分からなくても、目の前を駆け抜ける選手たちの迫力あるプレーや臨場感を感じることができることができるスポーツとして、アメリカをはじめ世界中で愛されており、その競技人口も全世界で４億５千万人と一番多いスポーツと言われています。日本でも、4年後の東京オリンピック/パラリンピックに向けて、ますます人気が高まっていくものと思われます。新たにスタートした「B.LEAGUE」では、ゲーム以外にも、様々なアトラクションが各アリーナで演出されており、府民共済SUPERアリーナでは、試合開始前から４Dステージが行われるなど、teamLabによる光と音の演出も一緒に楽しむことができました。今回、初めてバスケットボールを観戦された会員の方々からも迫力のある試合を楽しむことができたとのお声をいただきました。 試合後の熱気冷めやらぬアリーナでの選手との記念撮影では、お声掛けが行き届かずタイミングが合わないままでの撮影となってしまいました。

 

 

On September 25th, 2016, we boarded a bus for our JASO Autumn Day Trip. After finishing our early lunch at the restaurant Kogetsu in Shinsaibashi, we headed to Fumin Kyosai Super Arena in Maishima. At the arena, we were extremely grateful to welcome the attendance of Mr. Brian DaRin, Consul for Political and Economic Affairs from the US Consulate General for Osaka-Kobe, and enjoyed watching the basketball game from reserved seats. The “B. League” has just started this September as a professional men’s basketball league in Japan. This day was the opening game for the team “Osaka Evessa” playing at their Home Arena. A lot of fans came to root for them. Unfortunately, however, the team “Levanga Hokkaido” beat them by 70 to 58. Basketball is said to be a sport that more than 450 million people all over the world love to play and enjoy because it is easy to feel its powerful playing and tense atmosphere just watching from the courtside, even if people don’t understand the rules.　We hope it will become popular in Japan where the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in 2020. Besides the excitement of the game, we could enjoy the attractions: cheerleading, a 4D performance of teamLab led by Mr. Toshiyuki Inoko, and more. Some of the members who visited the arena for the first time really enjoyed the exciting game. The loud commotion from the boosters’ cheering on the court drowned out their photographer’s signal to shoot our post-game commemorative photo with the Osaka Evessa players.
