2019年感謝祭パーティ Thanksgiving Day Party

2019年11月20日(水)ウェスティン大阪にて、大阪日米協会と在日米商工会議所(ACCJ)共催による感謝祭パーティが開催されました。大阪神戸米国総領事館かれん・ケリー総領事、山本特命全権大使、総領事館公邸シェフ岸元様をお迎えし、JASO・ACCJの会員をはじめ留学生など150名の方にご参加いただきました。細川JASO会長、ザーカーACCJ副会頭、かれん・ケリー総領事、山本特命全権大使の挨拶に続いて行われるターキーのカッティング儀式では、昨年同様公邸シェフの岸元様に取り仕切っていただき、乾杯のご発声の後、パーティーは和やかにスタートいたしました。参加の皆様は、ウェスティンホテル(大阪)様のシェフによるすばらしい感謝祭料理を堪能しながら、サントリーホールディングス株式会社様にてご用意いただいたビールやワインを始めとするお飲物に感謝し日米の友好関係を築きながら楽しいひとときを過ごされました。
We held the ACCJ-JASO Thanksgiving Day Party at the Westin Hotel Osaka on November 20th, 2019.
We welcomed Ms. Karen Kelley, US Consul General, Mr.Yamamoto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Mr. Kishimoto, US Consul General’s Residential chef. In total, over 150 guests from ACCJ, JASO, and international students attended the party.
Following congratulatory messages by JASO President Mr. Hosokawa, Mr. Zurcher, Ms. Karen Kelley, and Mr. Yamamoto, we had a ceremonial turkey cutting by Mr. Kishimoto same as last year. After making a toast, the Thanksgiving Day Party started harmoniously.
Everyone enjoyed the authentic Thanksgiving Day Dinner, cooked by the Westin Osaka’s Executive Chef. Various drinks including beers and wines were prepared by Suntory Holdings Limited.We had a fan for this party and built the US-Japan intimate friendship.
