2022年　感謝祭　Thanksgiving Day

２０２２年１１月１７日（木）ウェスティンホテル大阪にて、大阪日米協会と在日米国商工会議所(ＡＣＣＪ)共催による感謝祭パーティーを開催しました。今年は、在大阪・神戸米国総領事館からリチャード・メイ総領事、姫野勉特命全権大使をお迎えし、JASO・ACCJの会員を合わせて139名の方にご参加いただきました。

吉川JASO会長、川上ACCJ副会頭のスピーチに引き続き、来賓を代表して政府代表・特命全権大使 姫野勉様のご挨拶、そしてリチャード・メイ様によるターキーのカッティング儀式が行われ、パーティーは和やかにスタートいたしました。

今年はサプライズで大阪市音楽団によるミニ演奏会もあり、会場は木管トリオが奏でる素敵な音色に包まれました。お集まりいただいた皆様は、ウェスティンホテル大阪様のシェフによるすばらしい感謝祭料理を堪能しながら、楽しいひとときを過ごされました。

 

On Thursday, November 17, 2022, we held a Thanksgiving party at the Westin Hotel Osaka, co-hosted by the Japan-America Society of Osaka and the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ). This year, we welcomed Mr. Richard May, Consul General of the United States of America, and Mr. Tsutomu Himeno, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan, from the Consulate-General of Japan in Osaka and Kobe. A total of 139 people, including JASO・ACCJ members, participated.

Following the speeches by JASO Chairman Yoshikawa and Vice ACCJ Kawakami, Mr. Tsutomu Himeno, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan, on behalf of the guests of honor, and Mr. Richard May’s turkey cutting ceremony were held, and the party started in a relaxed manner.

This year’s surprise included a mini concert by the Osaka City Music Orchestra, and the venue was enveloped in a wonderful tone played by the woodwind trio. The participants spent a pleasant time while enjoying the superb thanks festival cooking by the sheffs of Westin Hotel Osaka.
